A simple set up. Ha. Studio set up for a client, Busy Bee Signs.
I don’t think there ever is a simple professional photo. Not one that has been well lit, and shot with a high-end camera, keeping in mind the usage of the image. To shoot these signs for example, to keep them evenly lit, and for maximum detail, it needed to be placed on white, and lit using at least 3 light sources.

Diane Metz our principal photographer is an advanced master of lighting products for advertising. Many product that are reflective, extremely small or otherwise can be challenges for lighting. It takes time, and thoughtfulness as to how to go about it. With Diane’s experience and patience it comes together. Product photography is always changing, but there are some things that always stay the same. Such as, knowing your gear, and what you can do with it and what you can’t do with it. What to use for certain shoots, what to bring on a location shoot and keeping your clients well informed as the shoot progresses.
