Seeming a simple setup that took about 3-4 hours. Designing the set, positioning of bowls in a pleasant order to each other, and making fake ice cream takes some time to get it right. I forgot the most important part, the studio lighting!

Product photography is what we do. Photographing products of any kind, is of utmost importance to selling your pieces. Be they sutures, to internal devices the need for detail is vital. Lighting on the product no matter the size is what will bring the most interesting aspect of it into light. Shooting very small detailed images requires special equipment, special macro lens, and in addition, extension tubes which will bring the product closer into focus. A difficult shoot, requiring patience and skill.

Diane and I have owned our small photography business for, lets just say a long time. We are proud of staying in business through many changes from traditional photography to digital.

When I say small business, that may be true, but we have photographed thousands of products, large and small for huge well know companies and start-ups. Tiny products and large products all here in our studio.
