How to find a professional photographer?
Searching online, of course, but another way is word of mouth, but even that has taken a back seat to a simple search online for NYC area or NJ area for photographers to come up to find one that most likely fits your needs. Your product type may not be one of the featured photos, but take a look at something similar on the site to compare. Product photography is not as easy as it looks. I will explain.

These two images may look simple to photograph. They were not, in the sense of time. planning, lighting, and more. The tableware image took up to 2 hours. The image with the two models, took at least 4 hours, not counting buying sod, laying it down, and then the set up for lighting. We took at least 70 images with the models. People wonder why photographers charge what they do, and I can tell you there are many, many facets that go into a ‘simple photo’. At this point, Our Studio Productions has photographed 10s of thousands of products, and we know to get ‘the shot’. It takes planning, experience, patience, knowledge, and passion.
